 The Little Center turns out to be a weird building, both huge and containing a whole lot of not much. The inside is a theater, with a capacity of approximately 12, and the whole effect is of some half-baked idea shoe-horned into a space designed for something else. Although there are signs for auditions up everywhere, there are no signs of anybody auditioning. Over in one corner, someone with a beret and a clipboard is saying, "OK, Larry, I know you're working lights, but we need you to play Polonius, too..."A

 You don't think this quite qualifies as life, either, and you're beginning to think your entire strategy's wrong. You head outside to think.
