It was part of my ambition for the CYOCA series to have the books serve as a single coherent universe in which the four storylines were simultaneously occurring. This would be achieved by having events in one book be observed by characters in another. Unfortunately, logistically, this was unrealistic. Because it was hard to refer to things that weren't written yet, and the books were written in order (first to last), CYOCA#1 has no references at all, CYOCA#2 only refers to #1, and CYOCA#3 doesn't refer to anything because the authors forgot.

 The point of all this is, the General Store doesn't have a produce section, and the person yelling about it is the protagonist in "Trapped!"...
