Jack Foley's office You're in Jack Foley's office, explaining the need to campaign. He listens attentively, albeit with a bemused look on his face. When you are done, he starts to say something, then stops and thinks.

Finally, he says, "OK, Dick, you've done some weird things in the past. Remember the pork-rinds-and-Nair incident?" You two share a friendly laugh at the memory. "Well, this can't be any worse. All I'm going to say is, you've got my support, but I don't think Jim Collins will let you use University money to run."

 You're taken aback. "Why not?"

"Uh, well, Dick, you know campaign finance laws..." He looks at you nervously.

"Oh, OK." You see Foley relax.

Foley says, "You should talk to him anyway. Also, Paul Bottis has worked out some great schemes to suck off the SAF-- take a look at the Spree Day budget some day. You might want to get ideas from him. Give him a call."
