Surprisingly enough, you manage to open the trap door without much of a struggle. The single latch opens easily and you flip the door around. The light is blinding compared to the old mansion lighting in the tunnel and you lose all sense of economics momentarily. Senses regained you slither through the shimmery white marble passageway.

 The first thing you see is

 scratched onto a wall. You know there is only one place you can be-- the bathroom in Carlson Hall.

 Oy vey, you're in the toilet! You climb out, shake yourself off, and notice that you are not alone in the bathroom. A man bearing more than a passing resemblance to Dennis Hopper is washing his hands.

 "Didn't I talk to you this morning? What on god's good earth are you doing outside of the UC? And how did you find my headquarters?"

 "Ah-ha! I've foiled your little plan! Who's the tough guy now, punk?" you respond.

 "I am," he says, as he blows up Maywood Hall with the push of a button.
