It is ironic to note that the Scarletarticle in which Traina ranted and raved about his doorbell was supposed to be an update about the President's fitness regimen following his heart surgery in April 1996 (the headline was "President Comments on His Continued Health and New Work-Out Plan"). After raving a bit, the Scarletreporter asked him when students could talk to him. He said they could see him when he worked out in the gym, which he attended sporadically and always at 6:30am.
